Odd semester exams started in Lucknow University, CCTV stuck due to server problem in UP board exams

Latest Updated 28/02/2023:  The first and third semester examinations of BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc and B.Com (Hons) started from Monday in five districts including Lucknow under the undergraduate course of Lucknow University and affiliated colleges. 37357 candidates appeared in it. Controller of Examinations said that 19965 students appeared in the first shift and 17392 students in the second. While a total of 549 students remained absent in both the shifts.


A total of five copycats were caught by the mobile team in both the shifts. On the other hand, Proctor Rakesh Dwivedi told that the mobile team was dispatched at five in the morning for Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi and Rae Bareli districts.

Girl students were not checked


In the examinations conducted in the New Commerce Block in the first shift, where the students were being checked and sent, the girl students were not checked due to non-availability of female invigilators. Although the bags of all the examinees were kept outside.


Library made monitoring room


In LU, a room of cyber library has been selected for monitoring through webcasting. UP Board Inter students confused in Math


In the UP Board's examination held on Monday, the students of Inter were impressed by the questions of Mathematics. The questions from Algebra, Geometry, Determinants, Integration and Probability were very complex and circuitous. Those took more time to solve. The clever child got stuck in solving many questions. Because of which many questions in the question paper were missed even after appearing. In the end, the children got less time. The children who came out of the center after giving the exam told that on Monday more strictness was seen at the examination centers than before. On the other hand, due to server problem, there were major problems in the operation of CC at many centers on Monday. On Monday, 4147 children of high school and intermediate did not appear in the UP board exams.

Fellowship to two girl students


Two girl students of Lucknow University have received Bayer Fellowship. They will get 20 thousand rupees per month for two years. Both the girl students will have to maintain a good academic record during the fellowship. Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai told that Tulika Singh and Manvi Anwani, students of the first semester of MSc Biotechnology, have received Bayer Fellowship. Both were selected on the basis of academic merit, motivation letter etc.
