Education Project Council started the process, schools will get 5-5 lakhs for lab
Latest Updated 22/01/2023: Vocational courses will start in 43 more schools of the state. Two vocational courses will be started in all these schools. For this, Bihar Education Project Council has began the process of making labs in schools. 5-5 lakh will be given by the Council to the schools for making labs. Complete this work by March. With this, the study of vocational course will start from the new session.
It may be noted that under the scheme of the Central Government, vocational courses have been started in 2022 in one school each in 33 districts of the state. In schools where vocational courses have been started, the students have to compulsorily take this course as an optional subject. Vocational courses will be taught in ninth. Now it has been started in all the exemplary schools of the state. At the same time, practical classes are also being held in the lab in the 33 schools where vocational courses are running. 1.25 lakh has been given to the schools for the maintenance of the lab and purchase of new equipment. Schools have to improve the lab with this amount.
Private schools left behind Talking about CBSE and ICSE schools, vocational courses are not taught in any private school, while vocational courses have started in government schools. CBSE has given the option of taking vocational course in the main subject also. Even after this, vocational courses have not been started by private schools.
