Theft in the house of the former registrar of BBMKU latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 24/01/2023: Thieves raided the house of Dr. SKL Das, former registrar of Binod Bihari Mahato Koyalanchal University, on Sunday night. By breaking the lock of Dr. Das's flat at Katyayani Tower in Kusum Vihar, the thief stole jewelry worth about Rs.8-10 lakh and cash worth about Rs.15,000. After getting the information of the case, the police of Saraidhela police station reached the spot on Monday morning.
Dr. Das went to his daughter's house in Delhi on 21 January. He had given the responsibility of taking care of his house to the maidservant. On Monday morning, his neighbor informed him that the lock of his house was broken. Dr. Das informed about the matter to his relatives. Also called Saraidhela police station in-charge Jitendra Kumar. Thieves have broken into the cupboard inside the house. The lock of the cover was also broken. CCTV cameras were broken and destroyed. The thieves also took away the DVR.
Dr. Das told that all the ornaments of the daughter's wedding were lying at home. The wife's jewelery was also in the locker of the cupboard.
