Latest Updated 11/01/2022: The restoration of teachers and academic staff pending for a long time in the state universities will start soon. Along with this, the B.Ed colleges of Jharkhand will also be controlled. The proposals related to this were approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Principal Secretary of the Cabinet Department, Vandana Dadel said that the cabinet has approved 30 proposals on Tuesday.

The cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Higher and Technical Education related to the formation of Statute (Statute) under the UGC Regulation of 2022 for the appointment of teachers and academic staff in state universities. According to Rahul Purwar, Secretary, Higher Education Department, after the approval of the cabinet, this proposal will be sent to the Governor. After the approval of the Governor, universities will be able to send requisitions to JPSC for appointments. It is also necessary to clear the roster for the appointment. A proposal will be sent to the Personnel Department to clear the roster. It is known that the Governor has already held a meeting on this subject and while determining the status, has ordered the officers to appoint them soon. Earlier, the UGC regulation of 2010 was approved by the cabinet to clear the way for promotion.


Cabinet meeting stamped on 30 proposals


The cabinet has approved the constitution of Statute 2020 for enrollment and fee fixation in private and government B.Ed colleges of the state. Now, Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board will conduct the entrance examination in all B.Ed colleges.


Industry Service Cadre Amendment Rules approved

Jharkhand Industry Service Cadre Amendment Rules 2023 has been approved to regulate the recruitment, promotion and other service conditions of industry service personnel in the Directorate of Industries and District Industries Centers. Changes have been made in eligibility and syllabus. Also, necessary amendments were approved in the Jharkhand Geological Service Rules, 2011.


Funding of Sanskrit schools, madrassas doubled

The sanctioned grant amount of 33 Sanskrit schools and 46 madrassas has been doubled. It will be paid from this financial year. On the other hand, a proposal to pay Rs 16.51 crore to the printers for printing and distribution of free text books in the academic session 2013-14 for classes I to VIII under the School Education Department was approved.


Changes in Child Development Project Officer Exam


Child Development Project Officer Service Cadre Rules 2022 has been constituted. There has been a change in the exam pattern & syllabus. Earlier there were 150 marks for general knowledge, now it will have two papers of 100 marks each. There will be 50 marks for an interview. The officers coming in the service cadre through promotion will get the benefit of increment only after passing the departmental examination. Hindi will have 100 marks exam. The qualifying marks will be 30. Its marks will not be included in the merit list. There will be two papers of optional subjects. Every paper will be of 200 marks.

And on the basis of its fixed standards, the admission process will be completed. The state government has taken this initiative with the aim of bringing uniformity in teacher fees and enrollment process for the courses being run in all B.Ed colleges. This statute will be effective from the date of gazette notification. The fee will be decided by the committee constituted for this by the state government.
