Patna Dental College: Recognition left, now admission will be done latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 19/01/2023: Patna Dental College has now cleared the way for admission in BDS and MDS in the new session. In the new session, the studies of BDS and MDS will continue as before. The Dental Council of India has restored the affiliation of this college with certain conditions.
Two months back, due to paucity of resources, the DCI had recommended to the Union Health Ministry canceling the recognition of the college. Principal of the college Dr. Tanoj Kumar told that DCI has informed him about restoration of recognition. He has also given this information to the Health Department and the Health Ministry. He told that in the last two months many new resources and medical equipments have been purchased in the college. The health department and BMSICL have also assured to procure all the necessary materials.
2 months ago recommendation was made to cancel nomination and recognition
He told that even during the surprise inspection by the team of Dental Council of India last month, he had informed the team about the new facilities. The team left here completely satisfied. Earlier in New Delhi, he also gave a presentation of the new facilities available in the college. The DCI team had also expressed satisfaction over this. Dr. Tanoj Kumar told that soon other facilities related to students and patients will be expanded in the college.
