10 degree colleges of Patna Bihar got approval latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 18/01/2023: The state government approved 10 degree colleges in the state. Under this, these colleges will be established in one district and 9 subdivisions. The Education Department has given its approval in this regard.
The department has also released Rs 7.50 crore for this. According to the joint secretary of the department, Sanjay Kumar, apart from Shivhar district, degree colleges will be established in Simri Bakhtiarpur of Saharsa, Manihari of Katihar, Teghda, Ballia and Bakhri of Begusarai, Baisi of Purnia, Benipur of Darbhanga, Bagaha of West Champaran and Rajgir of Nalanda. . The department has allocated 2.50 crores for Shivhar district while 5 crores has been approved for other 9 subdivision degree colleges.

However, Rs 55 crore will be spent on this project. Rs 5.46 crore is planned to be spent on each college. There is a plan of 49.19 crores for the degree colleges of subdivisions. Out of these, 20 crores and 3 crores have been approved in two phases. The remaining 26.19 crores are to be allocated. Out of this, 5 crore has been allotted. On the other hand, 5.46 crore is to be spent for the District Degree College.
