Latest Updated 01/01/2023: Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission will now conduct Combined Eligibility Test for Group C recruitments. Only after qualifying these exams, which are conducted separately for technical and non-technical posts, applicants will be able to appear in the main exam.

The recruitment process in the commission has been stalled since the graduate level recruitment scam came to light in July. Now leaving behind the past controversies, the commission is preparing for new recruitment in the year 2023. The commission has already sent a proposal to the government to conduct the recruitment examination in two phases. Earlier there was a preparation to conduct pre and mains examination for posts of equal qualification, but in this the commission has to conduct more examinations. On which the examination expenditure is increasing manifold. Instead, now the Commission will conduct separate Combined Eligibility Test for Technical and Non-Technical posts as Pre.

Focus on Mains Exam

The Commission is hopeful that the Combined Eligibility Test will reduce the pressure on the Main Examination to a great extent. In this way, the monitoring of the main examination with less number of candidates will be much better. Along with this, the possibilities of paper purchase will also be reduced to a great extent. Commission Chairman GS Martolia informed that the commission will release its recruitment calendar in January. Till then the changes related to the examination system will also be implemented officially. After this, in future the examinations will be conducted with this system.
