JEE Advanced Exam 2023: It will be held in nine districts of the state latest news update

Latest Updated 28/12/2022: The engineering entrance exam JEE Advanced 2023 will be held on June 4. This year the exam will be conduct in 216 cities of the country. Examination centers will be made in 9 cities including Patna in Bihar.

IIT Guwahati, the conducting body of JEE Advanced, has released the center list for Bihar. Along with Patna, examination centers will be set up in Arrah, Aurangabad, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Purnia and Rohtas districts in the state. Last time examination centers were set up in 11 cities of the state, this time there will be no centers in Chhapra and Nalanda. This time Rohtas city has been added in the list instead of Samastipur. Students can choose up to eight cities. Examination centers for JEE Mains will be set up in Thirty (30) cities of Bihar.

Result will be released on 18 June JEE Advanced 2022 will include top 2.5 lakh students of JEE Main. Students can register from April 30 to May 4. The admit card will be released on 29 May at 10 am. The exam will be conduct on Sunday, 4 June in two shifts. The response sheet will be made available to the applicants on 9 June. The online display of the provisional answer key will be complete on 11 June. Applicants will be able to raise their objections on the provisional answer key from 11 & 12 June. The result will be declared on 18 June.

Increase in application fee from 50 Rupees to 100 Rupees

The application fee for JEE Advanced application form has been extended in 2023. General category students will have to pay an application fee of 2900 Rupees, SC, ST & PWD 1450 Rupees, 1450 Rupees for girls. Whereas in JEE Advanced 2022, the exam fee for General was 2800 Rupees, which has been increased by 100 to 2900 Rupees this time. 50 Rupees has been increased in the reserved category.

The admission process in IITs & NITs will start from 19 June.
