22 Students got job offers abroad in IIT Patna latest news update 2022
Latest Updated 29/12/2022: 22 students of B.Tech of IIT Patna have been offered jobs abroad. A student got a package of 82 lakh rupees. At the same time, this offer has been made to B.Tech students in the placement season of the first phase going on in the academic session 2022-23. During the last academic session, 10 such offers were received. The pre placement process is still going on in IIT Patna. A total of 281 offers have been received so far from different companies, out of which 250 are of unique nature.
There has been a surge in pre-placement offers for students who pursuing B.Tech. IIT Patna has received 72 PPOs i.e.; Pre Placement Offers in 2022 while it was 50 in 2021. 44 more than last season.
Training and Placement Officer Kripashankar Singh said that the surge in PPOs is a testimony to the talent and commitment of our students during the summer internship. This season, more than 20 new companies have participated in the campus recruitment for the 1st time. These include Denso Corporation, Edfora, 26 Miles Capital, Titan-DirectEye, Javis AI, WDC, EXL Service, C-DOT etc.
These companies gave jobs to students
Till the last week of December 2022, a total of 95 companies related to Software & IT, Finance & Banking, Analytics & Consulting, Core Engineering, E-Commerce, Automobile, Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Health Care recruited from IIT Patna. Top recruiters include Google, Atlassian, Dee Shaw, Adobe, Arista Networks, Sprinklr, Texas Instrument, Amazon, Oracle, Rakuten Mobile, Intu Intuit, etc.
Received 20 offers of more than 50 lakh rupees Salary
So far this session, students have received 20 offers of salary packages above 50 lakhs and 50 offers of salary packages above 40 lakhs. This year has seen an increase in the average package as compared to last year. The average package of B.Tech students has reached 29.30 lakhs. Director Prof. TN Singh has thanked all the companies.
Again placement in January
The director informed that the placement process of the second phase will start in the second week of January. The institute's strong academic curriculum & in-depth technical skills coupled with the leadership qualities of the students are the reasons for this stupendous success. Its Job Profile includes Software Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Application Engineer, Product Engineer, Quant Analyst, Digital Consultant, Data Scientist, Manager, Infrastructure Analyst, Machine Learning Engineer, Digital Engineer, Decision Analyst, Consulting, Management Trainee, PGET, Graduate Engineer Trainee, Product manager included.
