Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Home Department has sent a recommendation to the Central Government to conduct a CBI inquiry. In the name of admission in BAMS, BUMS in Ayurveda and Unani colleges of the state, a case of huge fraud has come to the fore. The matter came to light after a complaint was sent by some students to the Central AYUSH Council. The students had earlier also complained at the Directorate level, but no cognizance was taken of them.

In the investigation conducted on the instructions of the Central Ayush Council, so far 891 cases have come to the fore regarding fake admission in this case. Most of the cases are from Ayurveda and then Unani colleges. However, questions are also being raised regarding the admission process of BHMS. Six students of Government Ayurveda College, Tudiyaganj, Lucknow, have been suspended after finding disturbances in the initial investigation. Let us tell you that a large number of such students were admitted who did not even appear in the NEET exam. Apart from this, there are also cases of admitting students with low merit. In this case, on Saturday, on behalf of the Director of Ayurveda, a case of fraud was filed against Kuldeep Singh, the operator of B-3 Soft Solution, the nodal agency for counseling at Hazratganj Kotwali, Uptron and unknown. At present, the matter was being investigated by the STF.
