Latest Updated On 08/11/2022: Jharkhand Public Service Commission has released the final result of Combined Assistant Engineer (Civil and Mechanical) competitive examination late on Monday night. Against 637 posts, 609 candidates have been successful. 28 posts are left vacant. Candidates have been selected for 514 out of 542 posts in Assistant Engineer Civil and all 95 posts in Mechanical. They will be given appointment letters at the foundation day celebrations of Jharkhand on November 15.
Interviews were held for 1056 for 542 posts of Civil Engineer and 225 candidates for 95 posts in Mechanical.

Advertisement for this appointment was issued on 3rd October 2019. PT was held on 19 January 2020. The main examination was held on 22-24 October 2021. Mains result was released on 19 May 2022. Earlier the interview in JPSC was to be held from 30 May to 12 June 2022. The interview was stopped from June 7 on the High Court's stay on June 6. Later, the High Court decided in favor of the candidates and the interview of the remaining candidates was completed between 10 and 17 October.
Amarendra in Mechanical and Amish topper in Civil
Amish Kumar was the state topper in civil, while Amarendra Singh topped in mechanical. In Civil, Kumar Hemant stood second and Ankit third. At the same time, in Mechanical, the second position has been got by Abhishek Anand and third place has been got by Anil Kumar Hembrom.
