Latest Updated 19/11/2022: Inter studies will end from 65 constituent colleges and 45 affiliated degree colleges of Jharkhand. From the new academic session of 2023, there will be no admission in Inter in these colleges. This can be sealed in the meeting between Higher and Technical Education and School Education and Literacy Department on November 23. By the way, the decision to end intermediate studies from degree colleges was taken at the time of the former chancellor only, but due to Corona, the matter was shelved.
On the instructions of the UGC, inter studies in other states were removed from degree colleges, but continue in 110 degree colleges of Jharkhand. Apart from the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellors also objected to this. Information was sought about the number of Inter students studying in the degree colleges of the state and the compulsion of the government. After completing intermediate from degree colleges, admission will be possible in plus two schools of the state, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, model school, inter colleges and degree colleges approved by JAC.
The post of bell based teachers will end
At present, bell-based teachers are also teaching the students in constituent colleges. The Raj Bhavan had also raised questions on his appointment. They are appointed for 11 months, after which they are removed and renewed again. In such a situation, it is expected that after the completion of intermediate studies from degree colleges, the post of bell-based teachers will also end.
