Ayurveda, Unani Faculty finished from Lucknow University (LU) latest news update 2022
Latest Updated On 03/11/2022: Now, two faculties Ayurveda and Unani have been reduced from Lucknow University. Both these faculties have been affiliated to Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University. From the session 2022-23, the university will not take admission in Ayurveda and Unani. Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University will take admission from the new session.
The proposal to link both the faculties with AYUSH University has been approved by the Executive Council of LU. After the withdrawal of Ayurveda and Unani faculties from Lucknow University, only pharmacy remains as a medical education. which has just started.
All the students studying AYUSH stream will now get the degree of AYUSH University. Along with this, all the government and non-government colleges of Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopath in the state are being affiliated with AYUSH University.
LU will no longer take admission, the Executive Council has stamped
Lucknow University spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava said that the proposal to affiliate both the faculties of the University with Ayurveda and Unani Ayush University has been passed by the Executive Council. It is affiliated to Ayush University. One government and 10 private colleges each of Ayurveda and Unani were run by Lucknow University.
