Latest Updated On 31/10/2022: The shortage of specialist doctors in the government hospitals of the city will soon be overcome. 93 contract doctors will be posted in November. After the transfer of doctors of other hospitals including Balrampur, Civil and Lok Bandhu Hospital to other cities, there was a crisis of treatment of patients. Selected doctors will be posted in hospitals as soon as DM's recommendation is received.
About 100 doctors from Lucknow were transferred to another city, but the number of doctors coming from outside was very less. Due to this, advertisement for recruitment of 93 doctors was taken out through NHM in the past. In September, after interviewing 120 doctors in the CMO office, 93 doctors were selected. These include doctors of Pediatric, Gynecologist, Anesthesiologist, Physician and MBBS. The CMO office has sought a list of doctors from the hospitals. Hospitals where there is a very shortage of doctors. They will be posted there. The newly selected doctors have not found any radiologists.
The process of selection of doctors has been completed. Details have been sought from the hospitals where there is shortage. New doctors will be posted in hospitals in November.
