The Personnel Department has sent a requisition for the appointment to the Jharkhand Public Service Commission. Now JPSC will issue its advertisement and take online application.

The appointment process has not been started since the formation of Jharkhand
78,800 pay scale and 7600 grade pay plus two school principals will get 78,800 pay scale and 7600 grade pay. At present, the same provision is there for the principals of plus two schools. If sources are to be believed, just as the state government has cut the grade pay of assistant professors, in the same way, the grade pay of plus two school principals and headmasters of high schools is also going to be cut. As per the new provision, principals of plus two can be given a grade pay of 6600 instead of 7600, while headmasters of high schools can be given a grade pay of 5600 instead of 6600. The reason for the change in the rule can also be the reason why the pay scale of Jharkhand Education Service officers is less than the current plus two school principals.
576 schools upgraded to plus two by 2022
Since the formation of the state, 576 schools in Jharkhand have been upgraded to plus two by 2022. The post of Principal has not been created till date. The education department is starting the process of post creation. In such a situation, it is expected that after the creation of the post, the process of appointment of principals will be started in those schools which are currently without principals. Sudhir Kumar Ranjan, Officer on Special Duty, Personnel Department has sent a requisition to the Secretary of JPSC.
Applications are being taken for plus two teachers
Online applications are being taken from Thursday for the appointment of 3120 postgraduate trained teachers in 635 plus two schools of the state. Candidates can apply till 7th October. The examination fee will be deposited by October 9, while the photograph and signature will be uploaded by October 11.
