Latest Updated On 16/09/2022: Due to the remaining vacant posts of about 30 thousand teachers in the secondary-higher secondary schools of the state in the sixth phase of recruitment, the Education Department has given one more chance to the deserving candidates for appointment. Only the qualified candidates who have appeared in the counseling will get this opportunity. However, separate schedules have been issued for Patna and Saran Zilla Parishad planning units. Director of Secondary Education Manoj Kumar has issued two separate notifications of employment on Thursday. At the same time, the candidates of municipal bodies (municipal corporation, city council and nagar panchayat) planning units will get one more chance only after getting permission from the Election Commission.

The Director of Secondary Education, in the notification issued for the remaining Zilla Parishad planning units of the state except Patna and Saran, has said that subject-wise and category-wise posts, adding the vacancy and the posts on which the selected candidates have not contributed within the stipulated time limit. After doing the calculations then start the recruitment process. For this, the waiting list of the candidates who were not selected in the counseling held earlier in all zip planning units except Patna and Saran till September 21, their waiting list will be published on the website of NIC. The NIC website of the district will have to be put on the district's NIC website after preparing the selection list by September 26 and getting approval from the panel building committee. On September 28, the planning letter will be issued.

The process will run for about two months in Patna Zip
The entire exercise for the appointment of 705 secondary and 663 higher secondary (total 1368) teachers in Patna Zilla Parishad will last for about two months. Applications will be accepted from 19 to 29 September. The provisional merit list will be prepared by October 10. It will be published on October 13 and objections will be taken from October 14 to 29. The approved final merit list will be published on 14th November. Counseling will be held on 18th November and appointment letter will be given to the selected candidates on 21st November 2022.
