Coal India Recruitment 2022: 1889 officers will be reinstated this year latest news update
Latest Updated On 28/09/2022: By the end of the current year, a total of 1889 vacancies of coal officers & doctors will be reinstated in Coal India and its subsidiaries. The restoration process has already began. Vinay Ranjan, Director Personnel, Coal India, said in a conversation with Hindustan that there is a shortage of officers in Coal India Limited. The ongoing restoration process will be completed through December. Not only this, in the new year also, Coal India has release a notice for registration to engineering graduates for recruitment on the basis of GATE score. The vacancies will be released later. The provisional selection list of 958 has been done on the basis of vacancy of 1050 officers (Management Trainee) released in June 2022. There were 699 posts in Mining, 160 in Civil, 124 in Electronics and Telecom and 67 in System & EDP, but only 958 could be selected on the basis of GATE score. If all are successful in document verification & medical, then in one-and-a-half months (1.5) all of them will get the appointment letter. There are 444 vacancies for general category. 105 vacancies are reserved for EWS, 148 for SC, 81 for ST & 272 for OBC. There are 295 vacancies for General, 70 for EWS, 98 for SC, 55 for ST and 181 for OBC. Similarly, 71, 16, 21, 12 and 40 in civil, 52, 12, 18, 9 & 23 in electronics and telecommunications respectively. 26, 7, 11, 5 and 18 vacancies are reserved in System and EDP. Simultaneously, a computer-based test has been organized for the reinstatement of 481 officers for non-technical departments. In non-technical departments, the GATE score will be replaced by Computer Based Test (CBT). The result of CBT is likely to be released in the next month. The examination was organized through the agency at 101 centers across the country. In this, 213 seats are reserved for general category, EWS 47, SC 65, ST 34 & 122 seats for OBC.

450 doctors will be reinstated
The restoration process of 450 doctors has also began this month. Coal India will not recruited doctors. Subsidiaries have been provide the right to make appointments on the basis of vacancies. Subsidiary companies are releasing vacancies from their level. The restoration of doctors will also be completed through December.
