Latest Updated On 28/09/2022: Under the ongoing sixth phase in the employment units across the state (except Patna), the Education Department has immediately taken up the process of appointment of those who have taken teacher training (B.Ed) degree in the session 2016-18 and 2017-19 in the appointment of secondary-higher secondary teachers. With effect, it has been stayed till the next hearing of the High Court. The Director of Secondary Education has issued an order in this regard. This stay has been imposed in compliance with the order of September 15 of the Patna High Court on the LPA filed in the case of Rakesh Kumar Vs State Government and others. The Director of Secondary has said in his order that if the candidates of this category are finally selected, then their appointment letters will also be banned.

Appointment letter to the candidates to be distributed on 28 September
It is worth mentioning that on September 15, the Education Department had released the schedule of the planning program under the second transaction on the seats left vacant in the Zilla Parishad planning units across the state. Under this, the appointment letter is to be distributed on Wednesday, 28 September. Now in the order issued by the department, it has been clearly said that the candidates who have done B.Ed from 2016 to 2019, ie those candidates who are covered by the departmental order dated 13 January 2020 and 31 January 2020, their employment will be stayed till the next hearing. However, except these, other candidates will be given appointment letters on Wednesday. It is worth mentioning that the next hearing in the Patna High Court on this LPA of Rakesh Kumar Vs State Government is to be held on September 29.

Objected to applicants in LPA
It is known that on the order of the High Court regarding the teacher planning of the sixth phase, the department had issued a directive on 26 September 2019. In the recruitment advertisement that came in July 2019, it was said that in the next five years of the result, STET passed untrained candidates who have done B.Ed will also be applicants. Later, by the order of the court, the year of passing B.Ed reached 2019. In compliance with this, the applications of those who did B.Ed from 2016 to 2019 were also taken later. Objections have been made against these applicants in the LPA.
