Latest Updated On 24/09/2022: The Chief Minister said that the Central Govt has not yet provide the amount of Central Share to the State in the current financial year for various schemes of the Education Department. In this regard, the Chief Minister directed the officers to write a letter to the Central Government in this regard. The Chief Minister said that during the studies in government schools, the biography, principles and thoughts of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad are told. Its purpose is that the children of the new generation can know about their great men and the freedom of the country properly.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed the office bearers to fill the vacant posts of teachers at the earliest. Where there is a shortage of teachers, there should be an early recruitment of teachers. So that, there is no problem in the studies of the students.
On Friday, the Chief Minister reviewed the Education Department in Ek Ane Marg and gave many instructions to the officers. It is known that at present the posts of 1.5 lakh teachers are vacant. However, its updated report is being taken from the districts. In the review meeting, the Chief Minister said that the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme was started under the Saat Nischay Yojana, so that the students do not face any problem in pursuing further studies. Implementation of this scheme should be done in a better way and its publicity should also be done among the students. So that the scheme accelerates and students can take advantage of this scheme. Keep implementing the 'Unnayan Bihar' program started in all government secondary and higher secondary schools of the state properly.
Pay special attention to the education of girls, CM has asked the officials to pay special attention to the education of girls belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and Minorities. Several steps have been taken to improve the education sector. A large number of primary schools and may schools have been established. School buildings have also been constructed.
