Ankit Ramola (32), a resident of Naugaon in Uttarkashi district, has been arrested. Whereas, JE Lalit Sharma posted at Jal Sansthan in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh has been detained. STF has so far arrested 19 people in the recruitment scam.
SSP STF Ajay Singh said that the investigation revealed that at the behest of district panchayat member Hakam Singh, who was arrested earlier, Ankit Ramola (32) son Deepak Singh resident of Golden, Naugaon, Barkot distt. JE posted in Sahanpur in custody: STF tightens noose in western Uttar Pradesh in UKSSSC paper scam. STF SSP Ajay Singh said that JE Lalit Sharma, who was involved in leaking the paper along with Hakam Singh, has been detained by the STF.
Hakam Singh, who was arrested earlier, got the questions of leaked paper solved to the candidates in Dhampur. Investigation revealed that three people were involved in this case. In this, Junior Engineer (JE) Lalit Sharma posted at Jal Sansthan in Saharanpur was called by the STF for questioning at his office on Thursday. During this, he tried to mislead the STF on questions related to the recruitment scam. STF sources said that Junior Engineer (JE) will be arrested soon. The wife of the detained Junior Engineer is also being told as JE in Uttarakhand.
