NTA JEE Mains Phase II Result 2022: 100 percentile for Arudeep of Bhagalpur Bihar latest news update
Latest Updated On 09/08/2022: NTA declared the result of JEE Main Phase II on Monday. Thousands of students from Bihar have qualified for JEE Advanced. Arudip Kumar of Bhagalpur has become the national topper by scoring 100 percentile. This time 24 students have secured 100 percentile across the country. Arundeep did his 10th standard from St Michael's School. At the same time, he has studied 12th from Vikas Vidyalaya, Mehmadpur Patna. Scored more than 95 percent marks in both class 10th and 12th. Among girls, Ankita Mishra of Motihari became Bihar topper by scoring 99.97 percentile. However, this number is less as compared to last year. Last year around 44 students had scored 100 percentile. This time, out of those who got 100 percentile, five are from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Four are from Rajasthan and two are from Uttar Pradesh. There is one candidate each from Maharashtra, Haryana, Assam, Bihar, Karnataka, Punjab, Kerala and Jharkhand. Apart from this, a girl student from Andhra Pradesh including Navya from Rajasthan has secured 100 percentile. There are about five students whose results have been withheld. Successful candidates in JEE Main 2022 will now apply for IIT JEE Advanced. The application started on jeeadv.ac.in from Monday.

Ankita Bihar topper among girls
Among girls, Ankita Mishra of Motihari became Bihar topper by scoring 99.97 percentile. In Divyang quota, Abhay Singh of Bareilly village of Gopalganj district has got 99.83 percent marks. More than 40 thousand students appeared in the JEE Main exam from Bihar.
