Latest Updated On 18/08/2022: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) may investigate the paper leak case. Due to the disclosure of the unaccounted properties of the accused, the STF has sent the report of the accused to the ED.
STF has so far recovered Rs 83 lakh from the accused in UKSSSC paper leak case. Investigation revealed that the papers were sold to the candidates for Rs 15 to 20 lakhs. In such a situation, there is a possibility of crores of transactions in this case. The STF has also collected the details of the properties of the accused in the case. SSP STF Ajay Singh said that now the information about the properties of the accused has been sent to the ED. The facts found in the FIR and the investigation so far have also been shared with the ED. To strengthen the investigation, the written statements of 15 witnesses have been made in the court. This will corroborate the statements made to the STF.
