Latest Updated On 08/08/2022: Due to less pass of 54367 thousand students relative to seats in the polytechnic entrance examination, this time the hit in admission will be less. This will give direct admission to the students in polytechnic colleges.
The details of seats of polytechnic college wise students have not been provided by the Board of Provisional Education. Due to which the Joint Entrance Examination Council has not yet released the counseling schedule. However, the council has intensified the preparations for conducting counseling in the first week of September. There are 154 government, 19 aided and 1177 private polytechnic colleges operating in the state. The Joint Entrance Examination Council had conducted the polytechnic entrance examination. The exam result was released on 18 July.

1,74,160 students passed the polytechnic entrance exam for 2,28,527 seats. Even after a lapse of more than one and a half months, the counseling schedule has not been released. Due to the delay in counseling, students have to wait for admission. Officials say that the council will release the counseling schedule after 15 August.

The counseling schedule will be released as soon as the details of seats are available. The counseling is planned to start in the first week of September. Counseling is ready. Counseling will be held in several stages. Due to less number of pass students relative to seats, students will be able to take direct admission in colleges.
