Latest Updated On 08/08/2022: Eight PG seats have increased in the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, KGMU. Till now there was only one seat of MD Forensic Science in the department. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has given approval to increase eight more seats in the department. Head of the department Dr. Anoop Kumar Verma says that testing of toxic substances and the patients suffering from them will get the convenience. A specialized lab and information center is to be started in the department. The proposal has been sent to the government.
