Latest Updated On 01/07/2022: Coal India on Thursday released the vacancies of 481 officers. It belongs to non-technical departments, so instead of GATE scores, the calculation will be done through Computer Based Test (CBT).
In the vacancy of Coal India, it was said that the applicants posted in the listed companies will be given priority in the recruitment. There are 481 vacancies, out of which 213 for general category, 47 for EWS, 65 for SC, 34 for ST and 122 for OBC are reserved. Online applications can be made from 8th July 2022. The last date is 7th August-2022. For any kind of problem, the company has given a link to the helpdesk on the official website, through which the application can be made. Coal India has opened the doors of employment in June. In the same month, 1050 vacancies of officers related to technical departments were released. Now the vacancy has been released for 481 officers belonging to non-technical departments. Vinay Ranjan, Director Personnel, Coal India, told Hindustan that the vacancy released is related to the non-technical department, so it is not possible to be reinstated through GATE score.

Salary/ Pay Scale | Selected candidates will be placed as Management Trainees in E-2 Grade in the scale of pay of 50,000 to 1, 60,000 Rupees at the initial Basic of 50,000 Rupees per month during the training period. On successful and satisfactory completion of a 1-year training period & passing the test organized for the purpose, regularization will be in E-3 Grade in the scale of pay of 60,000 to 1,80,000 Rupees at the initial Basic of 60,000 Rupees with probation for 1 year, if not extended. | |||||||||

The duration of Computer Based Online Test will be of 3
hours (in one sitting) consisting of 2 papers (Paper-I and Paper-II) of 100 marks each. Paper-I will
consist of General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability & General English and
Paper-II will consist of Professional Knowledge (Discipline related) with 100 multiple choice
questions (MCQs) in every paper. Each question will carry 1 mark & there is no negative marking for wrong
answer. No any marks will be given for unattempted question. The question paper shall be both languages i.e. in English & Hindi only. However, in case of any mistake in Hindi version, the English version of
the online question paper shall be valid and final. The qualifying marks for the candidates in Computer Based Online Test will be
