Latest Updated On 26/07/2022: The countdown for the appointment of teachers started in July 2019 on 32714 posts under the sixth phase in secondary-higher secondary schools of the state has started. After three years, the three-day counseling of the qualified and finally selected teacher candidates has started from Monday. On the first day on 25 July, the counseling of the candidates was conducted in the order of merit according to the roster point from the final merit list approved by the Municipal Planning Unit. However, due to the absence of an executive officer in many municipal planning units, neither the merit list could be finalized nor the counseling was conducted there.
In this regard, Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary himself had requested the Minister of Urban Development Department Tarkishore Prasad. He had assured the posting of the concerned officials soon, but due to non-deployment of them, the information about the interruption of counseling was received from the Education Department. Officially no information was given by the department at any level as to how many planning units were held in counseling and how many posts of municipal teachers have been selected for eligible candidates. However, on July 26, the counseling of candidates in the order of merit according to the roster point from the final merit list approved by various municipal bodies and city council planning unit at the district level, while on July 27, at the district level, the counseling of the candidates of the approved merit list by the district council planning unit. action will be completed. After receiving the consent letter to the finally selected candidates by all the three types of planning units, appointment letters will be given on 30 July.
