Trending News: Banks will not be able to cancel the application even if there is an error latest news update 2022
Latest Updated On 17/07/2022: Now the application will not be canceled if there is any error in the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program (PMEGP). The state government has taken an important decision in this regard.
Instead of rejecting the erroneous applications, the applicant concerned will have to call the bank and rectify the error there. For this, it will be ensured by contacting the concerned banks that there is no error in the application. If any error is found then further action will be taken. After preparing an error-free application from the applicant, it will have to be approved. The Industries Department has given clear guidelines in this regard to the General Managers, Nodal Officers and all concerned officers of all District Industries Centers. It has also been asked to take this instruction seriously. Till now, applications from banks were rejected for minor errors. Recently, in a meeting chaired by the Principal Secretary of the department, Sandeep Paundrick, the Industries Department took several important decisions to make PMEGP more profitable and practical. Under this, the District Industries Center will not be able to hang the applications for a long time or till the last date of application. In any case, they will have to act on the same within 30 days of the application. If the application is suspended for more than this period, action can be taken.
Double Application will be sent
For the participation of more people in PMEGP, banks will be sent twice the amount of target so that they can select people according to the target. Earlier, on sending the application according to the target, the applications were canceled as soon as there was any discrepancy. The General Managers have also been directed to send the application forms to the bank branches within the stipulated period as per the target.
