Latest Updated On 01/06/2022: Uttarakhand Education Board will now do online registration only for High School and Intermediate. Till now, offline registration of students for board exams was done in schools from the ninth itself. Now with the online facility, the correct information of the candidates will be available with the Board of School Education.
The process of registration of board examinees was offline since the formation of Uttarakhand School Education Council. It used to take one to two months to register offline. Board Chairman RK Kunwar said on Tuesday that every year in July and August, candidates are registered for the board examination. For this, OMR sheets are sent to the schools by the board. The OMR sheet from the school level used to be submitted to the BEO office. After reaching the CEO office from there, she used to reach back to the board office and then the candidates were registered. Now due to online registration, school operators can do this work immediately.

- Students used to register offline through schools till now
- Every year two and a half lakh to three lakh candidates appear in the 10th-12th examination.
According to the board officials, due to offline registration, correct information regarding the students was not available. Even while filling the OMR sheet, the candidates used to fill their details like address, caste etc. wrong. Even after giving the examination, the concerned candidate has to come to the board office to get the mark sheet corrected.
UK Board Exam Result Date 2022 soon
Board chairman Kunwar told that the date of high school-intermediate result will be released soon. Board officials will announce this soon after meeting. In any case, the result is to be released before June 10. This time around 2.5 lakh candidates have given the Uttarakhand Board exam.
