There will be 1047 appointments on various posts in the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation very soon.
This information was provided by the Departmental Secretary Abu Bakr Siddiqui P, IAS during the appointment letter distribution ceremony of the officials recommended by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission i.e.; JPSC. He said that 129 newly appointed office bearers have been recruited in the department after 1990 in all categories of agriculture service class-2 origin. In 1999, about 5 Plant Protection Officers were appointed. Appointments are being made in entire categories together after 32 years.

According to the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, the preparation for recruitment to the various posts in the department has reached the last/final stage. These posts will also be recruited soon. The appointment of 365 block level office bearers has reached the last/final stage. They will be recruited to assist the 129 newly appointed office bearers. Similarly, 160 doctors in animal husbandry & 322 branch officers in cooperatives will also be appointed soon.
