PU: Guest teachers will be appointed in the new session
Latest Updated On 24/06/2022: Guest faculty will be appointed in Patna University in the new session. The process of appointment of guest faculty is going on very fast towards the university. Interview of many subjects has been completed. The result is expected to be declared by 25 June 2022. The university had released the vacancies for about 208 posts.

In the university, more seats were vacant in the subjects of science, social science and humanities faculties. The subject in which the university has not got teachers. They belong to ST and ST quota. Apart from this, the posts of teachers have been filled in other quotas. In many subjects, applications were received ten times more than the seats. Because of this, the scrutiny of applications took some time. More applications were received especially in the subject of Political Science, History, Psychology. Similarly, seat wise applications in science were slightly less. Registrar Col Kamesh Kumar told that the results of the subjects whose interview has been completed will be released in the last week. The appointment letter will be given to the guest faculty in the first week of July.
