Latest Updated On 27/06/2022: Bihar Board has once again updated the seats for Inter enrollment. The board has included 1193 more schools in the list of inter enrollment. In this way, two lakh 38 thousand seats have increased for admission in Inter. Now students will also get the option to enroll in these schools and colleges.
The list of 18 lakh 80 thousand 870 seats in 5328 schools and colleges was recently released by the board on the OFSS website, college and school wise. But after the update, now the total number of schools and colleges has increased to 6521. Now more than 20 lakh seats are available for inter enrollment in all the three faculties.

It is to be known that the online application for inter enrollment has started from June 22. The date of online application has been released for the students of Bihar Board from 22 to 30 June. According to the board, in 2021, a list of 17 lakh seats was released in 3664 schools and colleges. At the same time, 2857 more colleges and schools have been included this time.
Students have to Apply Online for Admission
- There are more than 20 lakh seats in all the three faculties.
- 12 lakh students passed in matriculation
This time around 12 lakh 48 thousand students have passed the matriculation examination. Apart from this, there will be about two lakh compartmental passed candidates. CBSE, CISCE and other boards together take two to 2.5 lakh students to take admission in Inter. In such a situation, there are about 16 lakh students who will apply online for inter enrollment this time. Merit list will be issued thrice after online application. After this spot nomination will be taken.
Seats increasing due to this: More than 2300 schools across the state have been upgraded by the Bihar government. The secondary schools at the panchayat level have been made higher secondary. Now these schools will enroll in class 11 this time. All the schools are being allotted seats in the Faculty of Science, Arts and Commerce on the basis of their infrastructure. After giving school code for Plus Two by Bihar Board to these upgraded schools, the respective schools are being included in OFSS portal.
