Latest Update On 08/05/2022: The teacher appointment process of the sixth phase in elementary schools will no longer run. More than half the posts remained vacant, but counseling was not held even once in a large number of planning units. Due to various reasons, the deserving candidates did not get the opportunity of selection, but despite this, the education department has decided not to pursue this long-running phase.
Taking the decision to end the initial planning of the sixth phase, the department has also started preparations for the restoration of the seventh phase on the basis of the new vacancies created during this phase. When asked, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary also confirmed this which is Education Minister.
It is worth mentioning that the process of recruitment on 90,762 posts of elementary teacher started on July 5, 2019 in about 72 thousand schools of the state. It lasted for 34 months till April 18 (special cycle) 2022. Due to judicial and technical constraints, the date of distribution of appointment letters was postponed many times and a new program of appointment was issued more than half a dozen times. Despite the four counseling dates, out of the total notified vacancies, about 51 thousand teachers' posts remain vacant. A large number of these are women and reserved category posts, on which eligible candidates were not found. Taking the decision in favor of the candidates waiting for the start of the next phase of recruitment, the department has decided to add all the vacant posts in the seventh phase.

On one hand, the waiting candidates will be happy with this decision, while the candidates who have been waiting for the job for about three years will be very disappointed, whose selection process could not be started even once in the respective planning units. The number of such planning units is more than two and a half hundred. Of these, there are 150 hundred such panchayat planning units which have been upgraded. Counseling could not be done even in three block planning units.

It is better to start a new process of the seventh phase than to keep the vacancies of all the planning units pending for some.
