Latest Updated On 04/05/2022: Enrollment will be done on JEE Main score in 38 government engineering colleges of Bihar. The admission process will be organized by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB).
The seats will be filled in 2 phases through online counseling & mop-up round. If the seats remain vacant even after the mop-up round then the candidates appearing in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination can enroll. In this regard, the Department of Science & Technology has said that there are 9,365 seats available in 38 engineering colleges. If the seats remain vacant in govt engineering institutes even after the mop-up round then in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022, candidates with Physics, Chemistry & Math (PCM) group will be enrolled on the remaining seats on the basis of merit list.

Appeal to appear in JEE Mains
The department has said that those candidates who want to registered in engineering must appear in JEE Main examination 2022. On the basis of the marks obtained in JEE Main examination, they will get a chance to easily enroll in B.Tech conducted in 38 government engineering colleges of the state. Also, those candidates who are not able to appear in JEE Mains examination due to any reason must appear in the examination of Physics, Chemistry & Maths group of BCECE 2022 organized by the Bihar Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board.

Patna National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the application form for National Eligibility Test, UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022. Students Online Application Form is available on this website https://ugcnet. nta.nic.in/ till 11.50 pm on 20 May 2022.
The application fee will be Rs 1,100 for general candidates and Rs 550 for EWS, OBC MCL, Rs 275 for SC, ST and PWD and third gender.
