Allahabad High Court has stayed the issuance of TET 2021 certificate & has sought details from the state govt whether NCTE has issued any new notification regarding the appointment of assistant teachers in primary school to B.Ed applicants. Justice Siddhartha gave this order while hearing the petition of Prateek Mishra & others.

The court wanted to know whether NCTE's notification dated 28 June 2018 has declared B.Ed candidates eligible to be appointed assistant teachers in primary schools but whether any new notification has been issued after the cancellation of this notification by the Rajasthan High Court. BEd candidates qualified.
