The Health Department will shortly appoint Pharmacists on 1539 posts. For this, the Health Department has prepared a proposal & sent it to the Law Department for approval. After the approval of the Law Department, the concurrence of the Finance Department will be achieve and the proposal for appointment will be sent. Applicants will be selected for the post of Pharmacist on the basis of academic record and interview. However, if more no. of applications are received as per the vacancies, the concerned institute may also organize written test for shortlisting of applicants.

Pharmacist will get 5200 to 20200 Rupees & grade pay of 2800
According to sources, a pharmacist who is appointed in the health department will give a pay scale of 5200 to 20200 Rupees and grade pay of 2800 Rupees. However, if the post of pharmacist is recruited on a contractual basis then the honorarium is usually provide up to 20000 Rupees per month.
Permanent reinstatement will be done through Bihar Technical Service Commission
According to official sources of the Health Department, permanent appointment of Pharmacists will be completed through Technical Service Commission. Sources said that for this it will be necessary to pass 10+2 with science subject, clear all the parts of Diploma in Pharmacy & be registered in Pharmacy Council. Online applications will be called from the eligible candidates through the commission. For appointment to these vacancies, it is also proposed to give 35% reservation to women and 4 percent to the differently-abled as per rules. Upper age limit will be provide to reserved category applicants as per government rules.
