The
recruitment process is going to start on 1383 posts of staff nurses in
government medical colleges and cancer institutes of the state. While fixing
the schedule of examinations, the Medical Selection Commission has decided to
start the application process from April itself. The exam for these posts will
be conducted in September.
About 2800 posts of staff nurse are to be recruited in the medical colleges and government hospitals of the state. However, this recruitment was not being done for the last two years. In view of the repeated issues in the examination, it has been decided to conduct this recruitment in two phases. In the first phase, 1383 posts of nursing will be filled in medical colleges under the Department of Medical Education. For this the department will conduct written examination. The schedule of recruitment was released on Monday by the Secretary of the Medical Selection Commission, Garima Raunkli. He said, the application process of nurse recruitment will start from this month, while there is a plan to conduct the examination in September.
