40% quota of government polytechnic students over
Latest Updated On 20/04/2022: Students passed from government polytechnic institutions of the state will not get the benefit of 40 percent secured seat in the job. On Tuesday, the Patna High Court quashed Rule 4 (A) of the Bihar Water Resources Department Subordinate Engineering Cadre Restoration Manual.
Along with this, the court has ordered fresh selection and preparation of merit list. The court said that all the institutions affiliated to AICTU and Bihar State Technical Institute have ordered the selection of diploma holders and preparation of merit list. On Tuesday, a division bench of Chief Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice S Kumar gave its verdict after hearing about a dozen writ petitions.
