Every youth of the state will be intelligent. He will have tablet and smart phone in his pocket and hand. The government will do this work in several phases across the state.


Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said these things in the foundation stone-laying and tablet distribution program organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities at Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University (SMNRU), Lucknow on Thursday i.e.; on 28/04/2022. She also distributed tablets and smart phones to 868 differently-abled children on the occasion.


The Chief Minister said that Dr Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University is working vigorously for the rehabilitation of Divyangjan in the entire state. The specialty here is that there are half disabled and half normal children. Now the Faculty of Engineering & Technology is also going to be established here. We launched an innovative tablet distribution scheme last year.

We have distributed one lakh 6151 smart phones and tablets in Lucknow alone. Today we are distributing smart phones and tablets to 868 children. The CM also laid the foundation stone of the engineering and technology faculty building to be built in the university. He also laid the foundation stone of Mamta Mentally retarded school to be built in Chandauli with Rs. 1 thousand 169 lakhs. Along with this, the foundation stone of Sanket Junior School to be built at Chitrakoot at a cost of Rs 1396.04 lakh was also laid.


In the program, he also distributed tablets and smart phones with his own hands to some of the final year children.

Yogi was inspecting the Atal Residential School under construction in Sahjanwa on Thursday. During this, he took stock of the construction works and gave necessary instructions to the officials of the administration and the executive organization. Yogi said that those children who have lost their parents in the Corona crisis will also get admission in Atal Residential School. The Chief Minister directed that all the construction works of the school should be completed in a quality and time bound manner by October 2022 so that the studies can start here in the next academic session (2023).He said that the officials should take care that the operation of this school will take place next year. Especially 25 students of BA, MA, MCom, LLM, MBA, BBA, MBA and BEd were excited to get smartphone-tablet from the hands of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Sakshi Srivastava, a BA student who got the tablet, said that getting the tablet will definitely give technical strength.
