Latest Updated On 26/04/2022: The process of appointment of secondary and higher secondary teachers, which was stalled in the sixth phase, started again after about two and a half months. On Monday, the Education Department has released the schedule for the restoration of about 32000 posts under this phase. Applications will be taken from 28 April to 27 May 2022. At the same time, appointment letters will be distributed to the selected applicants on 27 and 28 July 2022.

STET 2011 pass untrained candidates who have passed B.Ed exam in session year 2017-19 by 29th June, 2019 can apply in it. The department has purchased this order in the light of the decision of the Patna High Court (PHC). 2017-19 B.Ed passed applicants who have applied earlier need not apply again. According to the schedule released by the department, the provisional merit list will be prepared between 28 May and 10 June 2022. Approval of the merit list will be obtained from the planning committee by 15 June and it will be issued on the same day. Objections will be received on the provisional merit list from 17 June to 14 July 2022. The merit list will be generated by 10 July 2022. The original certificates will be scrutinized between 13 and 17 July 2022. Approval will be taken on the final merit list by 20 July. The final merit list will be made public by 22 July. On 28 July, the appointment letter will be provide by the Zilla Parishad Planning Unit.
