Latest Updated On 27/04/2022: Agriculture Minister Amarendra Pratap Singh said that soon appointments would be made on 2667 different posts in the Agriculture Department. While clearing the roster of 774 posts of Block Agriculture Officer, 89 posts of Assistant Director (Disciple), Category-1, Class-2, its recommendation has been sent to the General Administration Department.
At the same time, a recommendation has been sent by the Agriculture Department to the Staff Selection Commission, clearing the roster of 1470 posts of Agriculture Coordinator, 247 posts of Garden Sevak (Gardener) & 87 posts of Horticulture Clerk. He expressed hope that the process of appointment to these vacancies will start shortly. He provided this information on Tuesday on the occasion of the beginning of the entry-time training program conducted for the newly appointed Bihar Agriculture Service Category-1 (Disciples), class-2 office bearers at Bameti, Patna. The program was conducted over by Secretary, Agriculture Department, Dr. N. By Saravan Kumar.

228 office bearers got appointment letter
Patna Agriculture Minister Amarendra Pratap Singh said that appointment letters were issued to 228 officers of the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer and equivalent level recommended by the Bihar Public Service Commission. So far 164 office bearers have contributed to the Agriculture Department among the selected candidates on the basis of appointment letter. He was speaking on the occasion of the beginning of the entry-time training program organized for the newly appointed Bihar Agricultural Service Category-I (Disciple), class-II office bearers at Bameti, Patna on Tuesday. He said that an entry-time training program is being organized for these newly appointed office bearers till 19 May 2022.
