The result of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) will be declared after March 10. In view of the ongoing assembly elections in the state, it has been decided to postpone the results. In a letter sent to Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi which is Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority , Secretary in the Govt, Anamika Singh has written that due to the Model Code of Conduct in force during the election, the screening committee meeting held on 15 February 2022 under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary has to postpone the TET result is recommended. According to the timetable, the result was to be declared on 25 February 2022. But only after the final answer key was not released on 23 February 2022, it was clear that the result would take time. Guidance was sought from the government regarding the release of results on 8 February 2022 on behalf of the Office of the Examination Regulatory Authority.
UPTET was conducted on 23 January 2022 in 2 shifts. A total no. of 18,22,112 candidates had appeared Out of 21,65,179 registered candidates,. Out of 12,91,627 registered applicants, 10,73,302 (83.09) appeared in the examination conducted for the primary level. Out of 8,73,552 applicants registered for upper primary level, 7,48,810 (85.72) appeared.
