Preparation for appointment of 43000 elementary teacher candidates before 25 February 2022
Appointment letter to the applicants only on the verification of TET-CTET
The finally selected candidates for 94 thousand teacher posts in elementary schools of the state will get appointment letters on the basis of their Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificates only. The Education Department has made up its mind regarding this and as soon as the Education Minister gets the seal of this proposal, all the District Education Officers are preparing to give appointment letters to the candidates found correct in the TET-CTET test. Appointment letter will be given before 25/02/2022. On Monday, the Education Secretary and Primary Director have instructed to keep full preparation for this in a meeting held with all the DEOs through video conferencing.
Monday's review meeting was to be held under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary and for this, the Primary Director had set five agendas, in which only the certificates of 43 thousand selected people were verified at the top. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Asangba Chuba Aao, as the Chief Minister was the Additional Chief Secretary in the Janata Darbar. All the districts had to complete the verification of TET-CTET certificates of the selected ones by February 12 and report to the headquarters. Out of 43 thousand, the eligibility check of 95 percent has been completed. Those who are left with 5% have also been instructed to verify soon. On the basis of this certificate, the Education Minister can take a decision on the distribution of appointment letters on Tuesday. Along with this, the DEOs of Gopalganj and East Champaran districts have been directed to get the merit list approved by March 1 for the preparation of the special cycle to be held from March 14. In the meeting, the unsatisfactory condition of checking the academic and training certificates of 43 thousand selected people came to the fore. After appointment, some more time will be given for its scrutiny. It is possible that the education department should take this investigation in its own hands and from the headquarters level itself, the degrees related to the states across the country should be investigated. All the DEOs were also instructed that not a single candidate with fake certificates would be appointed.
The verification of Tet-CTET certificates has almost been completed. The verification of training certificate is not satisfactory. The Government and the Education Department are committed to give appointment letters to the finally selected candidates on time. Therefore, the idea of giving appointment letter on the basis of Tet-CTET is going on, we will take a decision soon. The date of distribution of appointment letters will also be decided soon.
