Uttarakhand Police Constable Vacancy 2021 latest update: There is good news for the youth of the state who have been
looking for police recruitment for the last seven years. The government has
approved the recruitment of 1521 posts of Police Constable and 197 posts of
Daroga. Along with this, Uttarakhand Minorities Commission has also decided to
appoint 800 Urdu teachers.
The government has sent a letter to DGP Ashok Kumar asking
him to issue a release on 1718 police posts through the Subordinate Services
Selection Commission. DGP Ashok Kumar said that immediately after the approval
of the government, these recruitments are being sent to the commission for
release, so that the recruitment process can start soon. At the same time, the
Secretary of the Commission, Santosh Badoni said that the proposal of
recruitment has already come from the Police Headquarters, but due to age
dispute and number of posts, the release could not be issued. A release will be

Unemployed expressed gratitude: The unemployed, who are
agitating for police recruitment, have called it their victory. Ram Kandwal,
president of Devbhoomi Berojgar Manch, said that after his visit to the CM
residence on Friday, assurance was received from the Chief Minister for a quick

Badoni said that due to the lack of clarity regarding the age limit, a release
will be issued for the recruitment according to the old age limit.
