The application process for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 will start from the new year. According to the notification issued by the CLAT Consortium of National Law University, the online application will start from 1 January 2022.

 

The application process will continue till 31 March 2022. Application form only at consortiumofnlus. ac. in website to be submitted online. However, the exam will be offline. CLAT will be held on 8 May 2022 from 3 pm to 5 pm. Admission will be available in courses like Integrated LLB and LLM of NLU. Registration will have to be done through mobile and e-mail: Candidates appearing in CLAT exam will have to register using mobile number and e-mail id. After registration, an OTP will be sent to the given mobile number for verification. Once the mobile number is valid, login can be done using the mobile number and password given at the time of registration. CLAT Consortium has advised that the candidates should write their name and parent's name correctly. Subsequent change in it may disqualify the candidature. Candidates cannot change Program, Category and BPL fields once the application is submitted and payment is made. If at any stage the information is found to be incorrect or there is any discrepancy between the certificates, the application will be cancelled.

CLAT score will lead to admission in 22 NLUs. After the declaration of result, candidates will fill the list in order of preference for all 22 NLUs. If a candidate is applying under ACST OBC, then the category certificate given by the competent authority will have to be uploaded. Application fee can be paid online only. The application fee for General, OBC, PWD, NRI candidates is 4000 Rupees, while for SCST, BPL category the application fee is 3500 Rupees.
