Latest Updated On 12/03/2025: 19,838 constables will be recruited in Bihar Police. 6717 posts will be reserved for women. Online applications have been sought for this appointment from 18 March. The last date for applying has been fixed as 18 April.
Additional Director General of Police, Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), Jitendra Kumar gave this information in a press conference held at the Police Headquarters on Tuesday.

He said that through the General Administration Department, Bihar Police Headquarters received a requisition for selection under pay scale level 3, (21,700-69,100) for 19,838 posts of constable in Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police. After that, an advertisement was released on the official website of Central Selection Board of Constable https://csbc.bihar.gov.in.
Recruitment process for 21,391 constable posts completed, result soon ADG told that the process of constable recruitment for 21,391 posts in the state ended on 10 March. Its final result will be declared soon. Physical efficiency test was conducted in 92 days from 9 December to 10 March. After the written examination, 1 lakh 07 thousand 079 candidates were invited for physical efficiency test.
