Latest Updated On 10/03/2025: Nomination forms for the student union elections to be held by Patna University on 29 March will start being available from Monday. Students can get the nomination form from the DSW office by paying Rs 50. Nomination forms will be available on 10, 11, 12, 17 and 18 March. Instructions have been given to buy the form keeping in mind the age limit.

Students can contest elections only as per the age limit prescribed for the student union elections. While buying the nomination form, the student will also have to compulsorily give information about which post he is buying the form for. The details of each person buying the form will be kept in the record room by the university. Scrutiny of nomination forms will be done on 20 March. Dean of the University Prof. Anil Kumar said that the list of candidates will be released on 20 March. Candidates can register complaints related to the election in the Grievance Cell. The final list of candidates will be published by the university on 24 March.
Prohibition of campaigning on walls: If any candidate campaigns by writing on the walls of the college campus, action will be taken against them. Prof. Anil Kumar said that in all colleges, candidates will be provided separate space for campaigning or putting up posters.
