Latest Updated 01/08/2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday cancelled the candidature of trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar and barred her from appearing in any future examination.
She was also barred from appearing in any examination in future
The commission said, UPSC has conducted a thorough investigation of the available records and found her guilty of violating the provisions of the CSE-2022 rules.
The commission said, a show cause notice was issued to Pooja Manorama Dilip Khedkar on 18 July for fraudulently obtaining more opportunities than the approved limit for the examination by giving fake identity. She was to respond till 25 July, but she sought time till 4 August to collect the documents required to respond.
The commission said that UPSC had given her the last chance to submit her reply till 3.30 pm on 30 July, but she failed to give her explanation within the stipulated time.
