JCECEB released the first phase seat allotment
Latest Updated 04/08/2024: The participant who scores 0.5 marks in the B.Ed entrance competitive examination 2024 conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) will also get admission in B.Ed. In the first round counseling for more than 13 thousand seats, 10,660 students have been allotted seats for admission in various government and private B.Ed colleges of the state. These also include the participant who scored 0.5 marks. It is important that the CML rank of the said applicant is 46,195. The students included in the first selection list have a chance to enroll till 7 August.
The result of 46,253 students who participated in the B.Ed entrance has been released by JCECEB. In such a situation, it is clear that even after participating in the competitive examination and getting the CML rank, a large number of students did not participate in the first round counseling. Due to this, students who got less than one mark in the competitive examination have got the opportunity of admission.

Let us tell you that in the 100 marks competitive exam, the student who got CML rank one got 83.75 marks. Most of the top 100 students in CML rank have been allotted government B.Ed colleges. A large number of students have selected colleges in their city and region.
26 B.Ed colleges in BBMKU
There are 26 B.Ed colleges in Dhanbad and Bokaro under BBMKU. 2650 seats are reserved in these. B.Ed is taught in three constituent colleges under BBMKU, SSLNT Mahila College Dhanbad, RSP College Jharia Belgadia and Bokaro Steel City College. 98 girl students have been allotted seats in SSLNT Dhanbad, 78 in RSP College Jharia and 97 in Bokaro Steel City College.
Less seats allotted in private colleges
Among the private B.Ed colleges, 72 seats have been allotted to Dhanbad Teachers Training College, 68 to Kumar B.Ed College, 66 to Binod Bihari Mahto Memorial Teachers Training College, 57 to Tathagata Teachers Training College, 52 to Alikra and other colleges.
Most of the B.Ed colleges have been allotted less students than the seats required. In such a situation, it is certain that if seats remain vacant, the process of second round seat allotment will begin.
