Latest Updated 02/08/2024: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed the first chargesheet against 13 accused in the NEET UG paper leak case.

The chargesheet filed in the court of CBI Special Judicial Magistrate Kumari Rinku in Patna includes the names of Nitish Kumar, Amit Anand, Sikandar Yadavendu, Ashutosh Kumar-1, Manish Prakash, Ashutosh Kumar-2, Roshan Kumar, Anurag Yadav, Abhishek Kumar, Akhilesh Kumar, Awadhesh Kumar, Shivnandan Kumar and Ayush Raj.
According to the CBI, cases have been registered against all 13 accused under sections 120-B, 201, 409, 380, 411, 420 and 109 of the Indian Penal Code. Most of the accused against whom the CBI has filed the first chargesheet were arrested by the Patna Police in May. Later, when the CBI took over the investigation of the case, a separate case was registered against these accused.
