Most said that by conducting the exam again, first the session would have been delayed and the candidates would have gone through a period of mental stress.
In a conversation with your own newspaper Hindustan, many candidates said that the period of uncertainty regarding the exam first and then the result was very stressful. Every news of NEET was monitored. Now at least it is clear that there will be no re-examination. With this, the students will be able to take further decisions according to their convenience. Those who have more marks will go to counseling and those who have less will consider other options. The re-examination was challenging and stressful for both NTA and the candidates.
Abhiyan Pandey: The decision of the Supreme Court is fair and just. Till now we were all facing mental pressure. Now it will be easy to take further decisions. In my opinion, re-examination would have hindered the efforts of real students, it would have affected the academic calendar.
Ayush Naugriya: The Supreme Court has given the right decision. Till now we were all facing mental pressure. Now we will be able to join college easily after counseling. Till now lakhs of candidates and their parents were in a state of confusion.
Subodh Verma: According to me, this is the right decision of the Supreme Court. The demand to cancel the examination was not justified, because it would have delayed the session and the candidates would have to go through the same situations again which they have already gone through. The candidates who appeared in NEET are free to take further decisions.
Arya Shukla: Now the confusion has been removed. With the court's decision, I can now take my first step towards it. By not holding the examination again, justice has been done to lakhs of candidates like us.
Khushdil Alam: According to me, the decision of not holding the examination again is absolutely right. My centre was in a school in Indira Nagar. There was no cheating of the any kind there. Counselling should start soon.
